Vita

I really had to work at following the Vita format rather than the traditional resume format.  Please give me feedback.

Concise. To the point. Some spacing issues at the top, but I am not one to talk. I had some formatting issues as well!, especially when I made changes. Hope you will comment on mine.

I agree. Your vita looks good. The formatting is difficult in HTML. Good luck!

Melissa, ditto on the remarks made by the two gentleman before me. It is to the point and specific. I know the formatting on mine changed when I posted it on my blog as well so just be careful when you have it in your original document and make sure it looks clean and sharp. Good job.

I liked your consise approach to your vita. I also had difficulty with a vita vs a resume.

I have been encouraged to list my references by name in order for potential employers to see the quality of professionals that can speak to my expertise.

Your vita is very nice, please look at mine and comment. One item I placed on mine were some of the professional development sessions that I hosted on my campus. You may want to add those to yours. Overall it looks very nice, I believe we all had spacing issues whenever we copy and pasted to the blogs. Best of luck in your program.

Overall great job on your Vita. I know I will need to revise and edit on my draft. When you get a moment proofread mine and let me know where I need to improve. I could have added more professional development from years back. Thank goodness for the extra eyes.

Thank you for the input. I adjusted the top a little, but it is hard to get it to look good on the blog vs. Word. I will be making some changes based on other comments soon. I will work this week to look at your blogs.
